Since February 24, We Have Transferred USD 40 Million in Aid to Ukraine from the United States, Even American Children Were Bringing Their Saving Boxes – United Help Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, United Help Ukraine has transferred USD 40 million in aid to Ukraine from the United States. Maryna Baydyuk, President of United Help Ukraine (USA), told this during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“While over the past eight years we have been providing targeted assistance, then over the past 9–10 months our organization has provided USD 40 million in aid to Ukraine. This was assistance that came from ordinary Americans, from state and non-state institutions, and small charitable organizations. About 50% of the aid came from individuals. American children came and brought their saving boxes containing 10–15 dollars, with a note that this was for children of Ukraine. It was very nice to see such small rays from the children of America. There were also big ones: sometimes we received cheques for a million dollars,” Maryna Baydyuk said.
