The military administration has identified more than 180 enterprises that are critical to the community. Oleksiy Dmytrenko, acting director of the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said this at a briefing at the Ukraine-Odesa Media Center. 30 companies were denied reservations due to non-compliance with the requirements, such as tax debt or low wages.
“The regional military administration has identified more than 180 enterprises, institutions and organizations as critical. Among the enterprises of industry and trade, the General Staff has already sent lists of employees liable for military service to 70 enterprises, of which more than 3,100 workers have been booked,” the official said.
He added that the main conditions for reservation are the absence of tax and salary arrears.
“As of July 1, 2023, wage arrears amounted to more than UAH 74 million to 4,000 employees,” the official said.
He also noted that while in the first half of 2022 the region’s industry operated at 55-60% of pre-war levels, in the first half of 2023 this figure was already 70-80%.

At the same time, the production of beef, pork, apple juice, flour, mixtures and dough, and sweet biscuits decreased,” – the official summarized.
