Sign a Contract, or You May Be Mobilized: Invaders Try to Force the ZNPP Personnel to Work for “Rosatom” — Former Head of State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate

Invaders try under coercion to transfer Ukrainian “Energoatom” and ZNPP personnel under “rosatom”’s control to, so saying, “legitimately” consolidate management of this nuclear power plant. Hryhorii Plachkov, Former Head of State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, made this statement during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“I believe they (IAEA representatives — Ed.) communicate with Ukrainian personnel. And yes, indeed, we receive messages from Ukrainian personnel that invaders intimidate, try to transfer them under “rosatom”’s control. They give two weeks of think time: sign a contract, or quit the job, and then you may be mobilized, since “referenda” have been conducted, “decrees” have been signed in the occupied territories, so invading authorities behave quite cruelly with people in occupied Energodar and with ZNPP employees,” Hryhorii Plachkov added.

Recall that previously the IAEA Director General announced an increase in the Agency’s mission to ZNPP from two to four representatives who will change every three to four weeks.
