SES set up about a thousand invincibility points across Ukraine
“As of now, we have deployed about a thousand invincibility points, about 750 invincibility points based at the SES, and about 240 mobile tented camp invincibility points,” said Oleksandr Khorunzhyy, a Press Officer of the State Emergency Service, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
According to him, the invincibility points set up by the State Emergency Service are equipped with hardware and gears following the requirements approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. There are heating generators and necessary heating equipment, hot drinks for people, and safety areas with preventive training for people to familiarize themselves with the rules, in particular. In addition, some of the points have the necessary conditions so mothers can change their children for instance, etc.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyy noted that since October 2022, over 635 thousand people have been assisted at the invincibility points. In 2023, 1,623 people were provided with help at the resilience centers.
“We keep on working towards ensuring people can receive timely and high-quality assistance from SES employees. Both the SES and the National Police are often on duty at the invincibility points, so all the necessary assistance can be delivered on the spot. If necessary, we can also provide first aid,” he emphasized.
