The Strategy draft envisages the establishment of comprehensive mechanisms of government response to the challenges emerging during internal displacement from the moment a person decides to be evacuated, during the period of social adaptation and integration of IDPs in the host community, and right up to the point of return to the place of temporary residence and further reintegration.

The Ministry of Reintegration developed the project together with experts from NGOs and international organizations supported by the Council of Europe project “Internal Displacement in Ukraine: Developing Durable Solutions. Phase II”.
