• family-based forms of bringing up orphan children and children lacking parental care in Lviv Municipality
• adoption and foster care programs offered by the Lviv City Council and the Children’s Services.

Why this is important:

There are 523 children, including 188 orphan children and 335 children lacking parental care, in the records of the Children Services Office. Of them, 103 children can be adopted. On average, 92 children per year have been entered into the records, starting from 2012.
