Briefing topic: 6th International Music Marathon in memory of Wassyl Slipak

Why this is interesting

The 6th International Music Marathon in memory of Wassyl Slipak took place in Lviv.

On June 29, it was 6 years since a sniper bullet took the life of Wassyl Slipak, a Lviv resident and a prominent Ukrainian opera singer, soloist of the Paris National Opera, volunteer, participant in the russian-Ukrainian war, Hero of Ukraine, holder of the Order for Courage 1st Class.

The opening took place on June 28 at the Lviv National Philharmonic. On the same day, a concert in memory of Wassyl Slipak was held at St. Martin’s Church in the municipality of Zuchvil in Switzerland.

All proceeds from the sale of charity tickets will go to the needs of the Lviv 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade to purchase vehicles and thermal imaging drones.

The Media Center will function as a co-working space from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
