Russian IPs often do not violate the Criminal Code of Ukraine and have improved their proficiency in the Ukrainian language – SBU
Russian intelligence services are very familiar with the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and in their propaganda they often do not cross “red lines” so that the information they disseminate does not qualify as a criminal offense.
Oleksandr Melnychenko, a representative of the SBU, made these remarks during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
“Russian information operations often do not cross the line (of criminal liability—ed.). In such cases, we focus more on analyzing who is spreading these narratives, what funding channels are involved, and which actors in the information sphere are disseminating them,” he said.
According to him, Russia is currently using artificial intelligence to mimic the speech patterns of Ukrainian citizens, which poses a challenge for our intelligence agencies.
