Russia Has Already Sentenced 38 Azov Soldiers – Media Initiative for Human Rights

Russia continues to sentence Ukrainian prisoners of war who surrendered “honorably” from Azovstal. Maria Klymak, a representative of the Media Initiative for Human Rights, spoke about this at the Ukraine Media Center.

“According to our data, 38 Azov fighters from Barracks 200 have been convicted or are facing criminal charges. But there are still many closed cases. Therefore, virtually every member of ‘Azov’ is facing criminal prosecution. Some are already being served with charges in their third case. They are scattered throughout Russia, and we are not in contact with all of them,” she said.
