Romanian border guards warn citizens about the danger of filming shelling of Ukrainian Danube region – Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces
Nataliya Humenyuk, chief of the Joint Coordination Press Office of the Security and Defense Forces in the South of Ukraine, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
She noted that the shelling of Ukrainian ports was “news” to Romanian citizens.
“It was (russian shelling of the Danube ports – editorial note) news for our neighbors. They filmed and commented a lot. They posted it on social media and in the Romanian media. There was a message (to Romania – editor’s note) from the border representative office. Then there was a powerful work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to explain the danger of disseminating such information… And now our colleagues, border guards from Romania, have received appropriate tasks, and they monitor if Romanian citizens are filming (shelling, the consequences of shelling and the work of Ukrainian air defense – editorial note), they warn citizens about the inadmissibility of this,” – Natalia Humeniuk said.
