Propaganda and constant persuasion: what is known about the forced mobilization efforts the occupiers are trying to carry out on the left bank of the Kherson region

Russians are preparing to conduct their policies of forced mobilization in the temporarily occupied area of the Kherson region. 

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration made this report, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“Currently, they are forming military entrance processing stations to undergo medical evaluation, their local newly set military commissariats and preparing for the mobilization. Let’s hope that since the preparatory work goes very slowly, God willing, they will not have time to mobilize anyone forcibly,” he explained.

At the same time, according to Tolokonnikov, there is steering propaganda about mobilization in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.

“Yes, there is propaganda ramping up and persuasive speeches, compelling narrative of how good it is, how much money they receive. But, if any collaborators agree to use this money to fight against their country, then let them go – there is already a previous case when they spent almost six months in the community to form a brigade that was sent to the front line in Zaporizhia, and this brigade disappeared in a few weeks. And everyone knows this, the locals are on the left bank and even collaborators are reluctant to die as cannon fodder in the frontline units,” he said.
