Preparatory Course for High School Students from the Temporarily Occupied Territories: As of July, Over 800 Children Have Completed the Course

Those enrolled in the courses are provided with dormitory housing and a scholarship. Alla Rybalko, Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, announced this during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

“This year, the so-called ‘zero course’—a preparatory program—was launched, allowing children from the temporarily occupied territories to enroll, complete the preparatory course, and receive free dormitory housing and a scholarship. As of July, 811 people have completed this course,” said Alla Rybalko.

Currently, the Ministry of Education and Science is allocating over 2.5 million hryvnias to support these children. The Ministry emphasizes that children from the occupied territories can begin the admissions process without documents and can restore their documents during the course of their studies.
