Police initiated a criminal case over a border incident of Polish protesters dumping grain from Ukrainian trucks
The law enforcement officers, who were at the scene of the accident when Polish farmers threw grain out of several Ukrainian trucks scattering it all over the road, have initiated a criminal investigation.
Volodymyr Balin, Vice President of the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine delivered this report, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“According to our sources, the police officers were at the scene. They have since launched a criminal case in response to the incident report,” said Balin.
As a reminder, on February 11, Polish farmers poured grain out of several Ukrainian trucks in staging protests near the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border checkpoint, where Ukrainian truck traffic has been blocked since February 9.
