Over a year and a half, 25 local fire and rescue units have been established in the Odesa region communities
There are now 84 of them in the region. Volodymyr Pashevych, head of the emergency prevention department of the main department of the state emergency service in Odesa region, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“There are 84 of them now, and 25 have been created in 1.5 years. And we urge the creation of such units in local communities, they help us a lot in our work, especially when extinguishing dry vegetation. In addition, thanks to cooperation with donors, we can update our fleet of equipment and transfer outdated equipment to such units,” – the official said.
