Over 10 million tons of grain crops harvested in Ukraine so far, total figure may reach 55-56 million tons

Currently, in the regions of Ukraine, farmers have already harvested more than 10 million tons of grain crops – wheat, barley, rye, rapeseed. The amount of the gathered crop is increasing, with forecasts for grain harvest reaching a total of 55-56 million tons.

Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, made this statement during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“Now, if you look at the territory of Ukraine, more than 10 million tons have been harvested. These are wheat, barley, rye, rapeseed. Some regions have already begun to thresh soybeans. The amount is currently increasing because the number of regions that are joining this process is growing. That’s why I think that we will see an indicator in the range of 55-56 million tons in the grain group,” said Denys Marchuk.
