One in eight fire prevention patrols by the State Emergency Service is now accompanied by drones – Viktor Vitovetskyi

Specialists from the State Emergency Service have conducted over 8,000 patrols to prevent fires in ecosystems. More than a thousand of these have been carried out using drones. Viktor Vitovetsky, director of the Department of Civil Protection and Preventive Activities at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, spoke about this at the Ukraine Media Center. 

“Over a thousand of these patrols were conducted using UAVs. This is a new method that helps prevent violations and identify those responsible for burning dry vegetation,” said the State Emergency Service representative.
