Odesa schoolchildren are on ‘technological’ vacation due to lack of power, kindergartens to resume work on Wednesday — Oblast Military Administration

Due to the difficult situation with the electricity supply in Odesa, it is currently impossible to hold remote classes for school students, so the children were sent on a ‘technological’ vacation. Serhii Bratchuk, Head of the Public Council under the Odesa Oblast State Administration, Spokesman of the Head of Oblast Military Administration, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“There is no education in Odesa today. It will not be resumed until the end of the week, although kindergartens will open their doors to children on Wednesday, because it is possible to connect such kindergartens to generators. The lack of electricity does not allow for online classes, therefore, from Monday to the end of the week, we have such a “technological” vacation for schoolchildren,” — Bratchuk said.
