Odesa region is fully prepared for the heating season – Odesa Regional State Administration

The level of readiness of housing and communal services and social facilities in Odesa region for the heating season is 100%.

This was stated by Volodymyr Karpych, deputy director of the Odesa regional department of life support systems and energy efficiency.

“We are planning to start the heating season in Odesa region as usually on November 1, according to weather conditions and average daily temperatures below +8 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days,” said Volodymyr Karpych.

He added that 1315 boiler houses, 1908 kilometers of heating networks, 248 water supply facilities, 8867 apartment buildings, 489 kindergartens, 623 educational institutions and 399 healthcare facilities have been prepared for the autumn-winter period.
