“Odesa Oblast Took 120,000 IDPs from Other Regions of Ukraine after the Start of russia’s All-out Invasion,” Spokesperson for Odesa Oblast Military Administration
Odesa Oblast took 120,000 IDPs from various regions of Ukraine after the start of russia’s all-out invasion. Most of them came from Kherson and Mykolaiv Oblasts. Serhii Bratchuk, Spokesperson for the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, told this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“There are social packages for IDPs, including benefits and healthcare support; education services will be added from September, subject to certain conditions related to security, first of all. The Oblast Military Administration tries to create jobs to engage people in our region’s economy,” Bratchuk said.
Also, according to the spokesperson of the Oblast Military Administration, the oblast keeps helping its neighbors. Humanitarian aid – first of all, food and potable water – is supplied to Mykolaiv without a break. Both oblast government and local volunteers are involved in this process.
