Occupiers continue shelling Zaporizhia region – Yurii Malashko on current situation in oblast

As a result of enemy shelling, civilians have been killed and wounded over the past two days

Yurii Malashko, Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“The occupiers continue to fire at us, at our tragedy-stricken settlements of Orikhiv, Hulyaipole, Mala Tokmachka. Over two days, people have been killed and injured.”

According to Yurii Malashko, the occupiers are using both guided aerial bombs and MLRS, as well as artillery fire. During the last days, the enemy targeted the region with aerial bombs, Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration said.

“They continue to attack us, specifically, with aerial bombs. If we talk about the last few days, usually these bombs are aimed precisely at civilian infrastructure, civilian objects, i.e. homes where the people who are suffering lived,” he added.
