“Occupiers can no longer bring in reserves from the left bank after Ukraine’s Armed Forces hit the bridges,” South Defense Forces
In Kherson region, the enemy is trying to bring in reserves from the left bank of the Dnipro, but cannot do so by using the crossings destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine spoke about it at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“It is precisely because we used caution and precision when hitting the bridges which are the main transport arteries across the Dnipro that they became impassable for heavy machinery. This is why the enemy is trying to set up alternative crossings. But the geography of the river and this area is such that they only managed to set up a crossing downstream in the same area where (Antonivskiy) bridge is located. That’s why they again came under our fire control, in particular, and we also destroyed the alternative crossing,” — Natalia Humeniuk pointed out.
According to Humeniuk, the occupiers are currently unable to bring in reserves, so they only pretend to receive reinforcements by moving units between populated areas.
In addition, the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine urged not to disclose information about the battles along the southern axis as well as the names of the settlements already liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The hottest news is yet to come, and for now the battles are going on. Therefore, they need informational silence. I urge everyone not to name the liberated settlements in the south of Ukraine, understanding that they remain within the range of enemy aircraft and artillery. Local population shouldn’t be exposed to such danger,” — Humeniuk urged.
