National Anti-Mine Action Strategy to be adopted in December this year

Currently, the National Anti-Mine Action Strategy is being developed, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is leading this process. The document is planned to be adopted already in December this year.

Ihor Bezkaravainyi, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“We will have a broad expert discussion next week. More than 80 Ukrainian and international experts will be involved. After that, the draft strategy will be presented at the international donor conference on demining in Zagreb. And the then-official document is expected to be adopted by the end of the year – we expect its official adoption and publication in December,” Ihor Bezkaravainyi noted.
