NACP integrated 14 registries to accelerate the completion of declarations
The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) will use data from 14 state registries for the new functionality – partial automatic filling of declarations, which is now available to declarants.
This was announced by Yulia Kulikova, Head of the NACP’s Department for Full Scrutiny, during a presentation at Media Center Ukraine.
In particular, key sections of the declaration will use data from the following registries: Real Estate Register, Land Plots Register of the State Land Cadastre, the Ministry of Justice Registry, the Civil Status Registry, the Registry of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, SMIDA (Securities Commission Database). Information from the State Tax Service, the Pension Fund and the Ministry of Social Policy Registry, including data on internally displaced persons, will also be used. In addition, information on vehicles has been significantly expanded.
According to Yulia Kulikova, one of the main registers to be used for the new tool is the State Migration Register.
“This is all personal information. Sections 2.1 and 2.2, which cover the declarant and family members, were the most complex because they contain the most data. This includes the Unique Record Number (URN) from the Unified State Demographic Register, the tax number, dates of birth, the registration address, and foreign passports. Hopefully, declarants will appreciate that all of this no longer needs to be entered manually. A lot of work was done with the State Migration Service because this is a very important and sensitive registry that contains serious personal information. So there were certain steps we had to take before we could implement this option for the declarant,” she explained.
As a reminder, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has introduced a new tool for filling out declarations, which significantly reduces the time needed to complete the declaration and minimizes technical errors.
