MP Venislavskyi: Ukrainian parliament awaits government’s action plan

During a briefing at Media Center Ukraine, Member of Parliament Fedir Venislavskyi, who serves on the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said lawmakers expect the newly appointed Cabinet of Ministers to submit a clear action program.

“I would like the Cabinet of Ministers to present to the Verkhovna Rada a formal outline of its action plan, even amid wartime conditions,” Venislavskyi said. “This would allow us to understand what the government aims to accomplish and what objectives the prime minister and ministers have set for themselves. Some preparatory work is already underway at the committee leadership level to help shape the Cabinet’s strategic direction.”

He noted that such a presentation is not only a matter of political responsibility but also a constitutional requirement.
