More than 100 volunteer formations formed in Ukraine – Andrii Liakhovych

Andrii Liakhovych, Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Interaction with Civic Associations and Volunteer Formations Engaged in National Defense, informed during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that to date, more than 100 volunteer formations had been formed in Ukraine. According to him, they mainly consist of persons with combat experience who were unable to join the armed forces or territorial defense forces due to past injuries or age.

Andrii Liakhovych also underscored the importance of the adopted law, which equalized the benefits of the volunteers defending Ukraine with those of the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
