Missile attack on Pavlohrad results in about 300 private houses, schools, kindergartens, and medical institutions damaged –  Mykola Lukashuk

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council and Deputy Chair of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Defense Council made the relevant statement at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform, commenting on May 1 missile overnight attack on Pavlohrad. 

“Russia unleashed an attack damaging about 300 private houses, two health facilities, 13 schools, and 11 kindergartens,” said the Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council. 

According to Mr. Lukashuk, more than 1800 people have contacted the mayor’s helpline.

He also noted that the regional and city authorities had allocated UAH 9 million to assist people in coping with the consequences of the missile strike.

“The regional council and the Oblast military administration have worked the report out and provided the regional budget support in the amount of UAH 3 million. At an extraordinary session of Pavlohrad City Council, UAH 6 million more was allocated. That is a total of 9 million hryvnias to help people eliminate this missile attack.”
