Military-industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Türkiye – Ambassador says negotiations continue

During the International Defense Exhibition in Türkiye, negotiations regarding extremely important areas for Ukraine that are to strengthen the country’s defense are expected to continue.

Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Türkiye, made this statement at a briefing in Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Next week we will have a big international defense exhibition. It will be attended by representatives of Ukraine, and (we – Ed.) expect to continue negotiations that we previously held around unmanned aircraft, aviation technology, high technologies and some other areas that are now extremely necessary for Ukraine, as well as those that strengthen our defense cooperation and allow both countries to work together and cooperate on mutually beneficial terms,” he said.

As reported, the Turkish company Baykar started construction of a plant in Ukraine.
