Why is this important?
The Ukraine Invention Convention is Ukraine’s first competition for young inventors modeled after NextMinds (Connecticut Invention Convention), the oldest invention program in the U.S., which has nurtured over 300,000 young inventors. Students go through seven stages — from identifying a real-world problem to creating a working prototype—and compete against peers from over 30 countries. For children growing up amid war, inventing restores what matters most: the feeling that they can change the world.
