Ivan Fedorov: FPV drones now used in 60% of attacks in Zaporizhia region
In the face of escalating hostilities in the Zaporizhia region, there has been a significant shift in the types of weapons employed by enemy forces.
According to Ivan Fedorov, the Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, the use of FPV drones now accounts for 60% of the attacks, a stark contrast to previous reliance on artillery.
During a briefing at Media Center Ukraine, Fedorov detailed the recent surge in enemy activity in the Zaporizhia sector.
“Over the past week, we’ve observed a noticeable intensification, with daily attacks ranging between 400 and 550,” Fedorov reported. “We see that the weapons used by the enemy have changed, and they are firing more intensively. Where artillery once dominated 60% of these assaults, FPV drones have now taken over that same share.”
