Israel puts off introduction of electronic visas for Ukrainians by six month – Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel
Instead of introducing electronic visas on July 1, as previously planned, they will be implemented in 2025.
Yevgen Korniychuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Israel, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“Due to the work of our embassy — and not only ours, for example, Moldovan representatives also spoke out on this issue — the Israelis postponed the introduction of electronic visas by six months. Instead of July 1, they will be introduced next year. That is, we have some time to prepare. And I know that the NSDC and our other institutions are considering a mirror response, since this is a useful and we also need to control the entry of foreign citizens into Ukraine, especially amidst the big war,” said Yevgen Korniychuk.
