Iryna Vereshchuk: “Three humanitarian corridors were agreed on March 29”

The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk spoke about the current plans for evacuation and the work of humanitarian corridors.

From Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia – by own transport.

Also now 34 buses for evacuation of Mariupol residents from the city of Berdyansk have left Zaporizhzhia.

“We expect that they will reach the city by evening. Yesterday we managed to evacuate 880 Mariupol residents from Berdyansk, despite the lack of approval from the occupiers – said Iryna Vereshchuk. – The issue of their moving was resolved promptly. Thank you to our drivers and State Emergency Service staff for their courage!”

ATTENTION! At the address: 87b Melitopolske Shose Street, in Berdyansk, there is a free refueling station for Mariupol residents. There are also humanitarian headquarters in Berdyansk to help Mariupol residents.

From Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia

Buses and humanitarian aid have already left Zaporizhzhia in the morning. The time of their arrival depends on the speed of passing checkpoints. After arriving in the city, buses will pick up people near the SES office №10: Alekseeva street, 12.

From the city of Energodar to Zaporizhzhia accompanied by a car of the SES from 10-00 a.m. a column of people is departured by private transport.

Place of formation of the column: opposite the City Council, Kurchatova Street, 14. A convoy of trucks with humanitarian aid also went to the city of Energodar accompanied by the SES from Zaporizhzhia.

“These are all humanitarian corridors for today, we are working!” – Iryna Vereshchuk summed up.
