Iryna Vereshchuk: “The Supreme Pontiff promises assistance in humanitarian corridors”

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk on STB TV channel. According to her, in addition to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations, other international missions are ready to join the organization of the evacuation of civilians from combat zones in Ukraine.

“The Pontifical Nuncio proposed us the help in opening humanitarian corridors. It seems that there is such an agreement with the russian side. If it works, we will be very grateful to the Supreme Pontiff for his personal participation and efforts to help prevent a humanitarian catastrophe» – Iryna Vereshchuk said.
