
Influenza and ARVI cases expected to decline soon – Ukraine’s Public Health Center
Influenza and acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI) cases in Ukraine are expected to decrease in the near future, following a pattern similar to last year’s epidemic season.
Oleksii Danylenko, deputy director general of the Public Health Center at Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, shared this outlook during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“In fact, we are observing a classic scenario. Compared to last year’s epidemic season, we’re seeing similar trends but with lower incidence rates,” he explained. “We’re about a week behind in terms of epidemiological trends, which is a distinctive feature of this year’s epidemic process. However, if we analyze last year’s trajectory, infection rates are likely to start declining soon.”
