In the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, the occupiers are forming a “voluntary militia” – human rights activist

The perspective of such a militia is to become “cannon fodder”. Vira Yastrebova, lawyer, director of the NGO “Shidna Pravozahisna grupa” (Eastern Human Rights Group), told about this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“According to the information of our sources, in the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, they announced the recruitment of volunteers for the so-called “people’s militia”, who will be thrown to certain death. There is already such experience. Earlier, in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, they formed such “Bars” – “Battle Army Reserve Squad”. When the war started, they went to kill Ukrainians and die,” said the human rights activist.

She also added that forced passportization and deportation of children continues in the temporarily captured territories of these regions.
