In the current crop year, Ukraine has significantly increased its grain exports by 60% compared to the previous year, Denys Marchuk says
The Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council shared during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine that over 7 million tons of grain have already been sold this year, reflecting a substantial boost from last year’s numbers.
“The outlook for the ports of Greater Odesa remains quite positive. We’ve already exported more than 7 million tons this year, which is a 60% increase over last year. As long as we continue to protect and support these ports, we expect that international partners and shipping agencies will continue to engage with Ukraine and facilitate further exports ,” Denys Marchuk stated.
Marchuk also noted that Ukraine is aiming to export more than 40 million tons of grain by the end of the crop year.
