In Mykolaiv, 149 civilians killed, 698 seriously injured due to russian missiles — Oleksandr Sienkevych

As of today, due to russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 149 civilians have died in Mykolaiv, including 2 children. Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mayor of Mykolaiv made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

 “698 people have been seriously injured, 10 of whom are children,” — Sienkevych said.

The mayor of Mykolaiv also specified how many people are currently staying in the city.

“Out of the 486,000 that we recorded before the war, there are about 220,000-230,000 people in Mykolaiv today. People are now returning, some are taking their winter clothes and are leaving the city again,” — Sienkevych explained.
