In Kharkiv Region, People Are Stroked Mines and Tripwires Almost Every Day, Including in Their Yards — Head of Oblast Military Administration

One of the most serious challenges to the Kharkiv region authorities after de-occupation remains mine clearance. Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, stated this during the briefing in the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Kharkiv region is recognized as the most polluted for the presence of explosive substances. Almost every day people strike mines, tripwires that they find, including in their yards. Therefore, we remind you every time that forests, forest belts, roadsides, and even your own yards should be perceived as a potential danger. If you find explosive or simply unfamiliar objects, please immediately report them to the National Police and the State Emergency Service. Never use your mobile phone near these objects, as this may cause an explosion. Do not move, whelm, or cover these objects. Just do not touch or approach them,” Oleh Syniehubov advised.
