
In Kharkiv Oblast, the facilities of the fuel and energy complex are equipped with engineering protection against russian hits: Serhiy Magdysyuk, adviser to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration
Kharkiv Media Hub hosted a briefing on the topic “Preparation of housing and communal facilities in the Kharkiv region for the heating season of 2023-2024.” Serhii Magdysyuk, adviser to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, spoke about the state of affairs on the raised issue.
– The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, which is responsible for preparing for the heating season in the country, has proven the requirements for the preparation of housing and social housing facilities for the autumn-winter period at the level of 90%, – said the speaker.
According to him, the heating industry of the region is prepared for the new heating season in accordance with these requirements.
– Out of 544 boiler houses, 398 are ready for operation, and about 1.8 thousand km of the planned almost 2 thousand km of heating lines have been prepared. Almost 106 km of heating networks, 51 heating boilers were replaced, and 17 units were overhauled. The water supply and sewage system is 86 percent ready, a stock of chemical reagents is being created, and additional containers for water supply have been reserved, – said the adviser to the head of the KhRMA.
Magdasyuk also noted that restoration works are ongoing at fuel and energy facilities in the region: at Zmiyivskaya TPC, Kharkiv CHP-5, CHP-2, CPH-3, at substations and networks of NEC “Ukrenergo”, JSC “Kharkivoblenergo”, which suffered serious damage due to russian aggression. In addition, the entire range of works related to engineering protection of fuel and energy complex facilities against UAV hits, debris, and small arms is being carried out in the region.
According to the speaker, with the aim of uninterrupted provision of housing and communal services to consumers of the region, the relevant enterprises of the region are provided with backup power in case of power supply interruption in the amount of 585 generators.
Also, during the briefing, the issue of meeting the needs of residents of Izyum in heating with the help of modular mobile boiler houses was discussed.
