In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, russian invaders Shell Areas Where Many IDPs Live

Mykola Lukashuk, Chair of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, Deputy Chair of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Defense Council, spoke about this at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“russia shelled the raion with Uragan multiple rocket launchers. Fortunately, there were no casualties and destructions this time. During the night, they attacked Nikopol with tube artillery. An elderly woman was wounded; she is currently being treated. This shelling damaged many residential homes,” he said.

The work on restoring the power and gas supply is ongoing.

In Nikopol Raion, 309 private homes were destroyed, and 117 blocks of apartments were damaged over the last month. The russians shell the area from Enerhodar. The distance to residential buildings ranges from 4 to 19 kilometers. The enemy attacks at night,” Mykola Lukashuk said.

According to the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast head, over 15,000 internally displaced persons who fled the war settled in this area.

“No compulsory evacuation is being planned, and Ukraine’s Armed Forces are doing everything to make shelling impossible,” the official emphasized.
