Higher education institutions have largely stopped relocating since 2022

Oleh Sharov, Director General of the Directorate of Higher and Adult Education at Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“95% of decisions regarding the relocation of educational institutions were made between 2014 and 2022. After 2022, only secondary relocations have been decided. These decisions are made jointly by the educational institution’s administration, the regional military administration, and the relevant ministry. There have been no cases where these decisions were not made by consensus,” Sharov explained.
