Half of the volunteers who complete the week-long training program in the 3rd Assault Brigade, which is designed to let them experience the role of a soldier and determine where they can best use their skills, ultimately decide to stay with the brigade.

This was announced by “Student”, the chief sergeant of the Trial Week project, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“I can’t disclose internal figures, but for example, half of those who come every week or month end up staying with us,” he said.

The chief sergeant also emphasized the benefits of the Trial Week program.

“It’s a chance to try yourself as a soldier without being drafted or signing a contract – it’s a chance to challenge yourself, to experience our spirit, our motivation, our ideology and our strength,” he added.
