Fraudsters, who tried to sell military aid in Lviv region, can be sentenced to 7 years in prison

We are talking about 6 fraudsters arrested in the summer of last year, who were reselling bulletproof vests. Case materials in one of the episodes are already in court. The other case lawyers are delaying. This was announced by the speaker of the Lviv Regional Office of the Security Service of Ukraine at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Lviv.

“People asked requests from commanders of military units to import humanitarian aid into Ukraine without paying customs duties for the specified goods. As a result, our defenders received a minimum from such a batch, the rest of which was appropriated by criminals and prepared by them for further sale and personal gain,” said Roksolana Yavorska, the speaker of the SSU of Lviv region.

On the initiative of the SSU, almost 4000 armoured plates and 685 plate carriers for a total amount of over 16 million UAH were transferred to the Defense Forces at the front.
