Serhii Bratchuk, Chair of the Public Council under Odesa Oblast Military Administration made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“Planned power outage schedules have been drawn up in Odesa. Five (power outage) queues have already been established. First of all, the shutdown concerns enterprises and industry. As for domestic consumers, neither in Odesa nor in the region, such cuts have been foreseen yet,” — he said.
Bratchuk explained that power supply will not be cut for consumers for now, because when the call to use electricity sparingly was heard throughout the country, Odesa region immediately reacted and reached the required level of energy savings.
