Enemy to target energy and critical infrastructure – Yurii Ihnat

During the massive missile attack on Ukraine overnight of September 21, the air defense forces downed 36 out of 43 enemy missiles. As of now, there are already reports of attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. And this is a signal that critical infrastructure objects, fuel and energy facilities will be the enemy’s target.

Yurii Ihnat, Spokesperson of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Our Ukrainian energy workers have already reported that critical infrastructure facilities, in particular energy facilities, have been attacked. As you know, during the last attack, the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery was hit. Therefore, we can make certain assumptions that the fuel and energy sector facilities will still be targeted by the enemy. And that’s why you have to prepare for this too. Because autumn has come, the heating season is coming soon, and the enemy may not abandon plans to attack precisely such facilities, in addition to military objects,” warned Yurii Ihnat.

It should be noted that the russians launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine overnight. Anti-aircraft defense destroyed enemy rockets in a number of regions, particularly in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
