Enemy aims to occupy Kupyansk again, but sees no strategic successes along this axis – Lt. Col. Volodymyr Fitio

The Kupyansk sector is one of the hottest on the entire front line. The enemy aims to reoccupy the city of Kupyansk. Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fitio, Head of the Public Relations Service of the Land Forces Command, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“This is an important logistics center through which logistical supplies of food and ammunition were delivered during the previous occupation. And of course, with the elections coming up, the enemy has to obtain at least some kind of a victory. At the moment, the russian occupying army has no strategic successes along this axis. And our servicemen are showing courage and dignity while holding the line and fighting off the russian invaders,” Volodymyr Fitio explained.
