During 2023, Russia fired over 1200 times at Chernihiv region – Viacheslav Chaus

Last week alone, the enemy fired 39 times at the region.

It was announced by Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“Today the enemy strikes targeting the Chernihiv region are ongoing. Over the past week, the enemy made 39 attacks, almost 500 hits, and 500 explosions on the territory of the Chernihiv border area. The enemy does not stop, and, unfortunately, there is an injured person. Speaking of year attacks, in 2023 Russia carried out more than 1200 attacks on the territory of the Chernihiv region. This is almost 11 thousand shells hit on our Chernihiv land.”
