During 2022 year Odesa received 247 generators from foreign partners

17 of them are of large capacity. They will be installed in city boiler houses. Serhii Tetyukhin, deputy mayor of Odesa, told about this during a briefing at the Odesa-Ukraine Media Center.

“Over the past two months, we have received 17 generators with a capacity from 100 kW to 1 MW. We provided 8 city boiler houses with alternative power sources. This will provide heat for 399 houses, or 70,000 Odessa residents,” the official said.

Currently, the city government plans to ensure the city’s energy security and uninterrupted water supply. For this purpose, pumps of artesian wells in Odesa will also be connected to generators.
