Crimea Platform experts work in three dimensions to improve legislation and protect people from Russian aggression – Olha Skrypnyk
The issues of the economy in times of war, preservation of cultural heritage and perception of Ukraine in foreign media were discussed by experts during the second day of the 3rd International Forum of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network.
Olha Skrypnyk, Coordinator of the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law Group of the Crimea Platform Expert Network, Head of the Board of the Crimean Human Rights Group, noted that since 2021, the Crimea Platform has existed in three dimensions: governmental, parliamentary and expert. It is this broad field of activity that allows us to effectively cooperate with Ukrainian and foreign politicians and experts to protect the rights of those affected by Russia’s actions.
“Cooperation with the parliament is key for us, just to improve our legislation, protecting the victims of the war unleashed by Russia,” said Olha Skrypnyk.
The coordinator of the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law group emphasized that the Crimea Platform is very active at the parliamentary level. The international parliamentary summit to be held in Lithuania this year is proof of this.
