“Covid-19 Cases Grow in Ukraine,” Ministry of Health

Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health, reported this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Over the last week, we recorded 1,018 Covid-19 cases; there were 943 cases a week earlier. We can see an increase of 12%, matching trends in other European countries. Potentially, we are bracing ourselves for a potential new corona wave. And we are preparing the healthcare system accordingly,” he said.

The Health Minister emphasized that there can be problems with oxygen supplies because the oxygen equipment in Ukraine is manufactured in the area of active hostilities.

Viktor Liashko called on Ukrainians to vaccinate and not neglect their health.
