Countries participating in the Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform encouraged each other to decide on inviting Ukraine to NATO – Maria Mezentseva
All the countries participating in the Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform encouraged each other to invite Ukraine to NATO.
This was emphasized by Maria Mezentseva, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, during a press conference at the Media Center Ukraine.
“I would like to emphasize the status of Ukraine’s invitation to the North Atlantic Alliance. All the representative countries present encouraged each other in this regard. I am confident that we will soon see results. We still need to think about the prospect of actual membership and how it will be realized, because it is a matter not only of Ukraine’s security, but also of the whole world,” she said.
It should be noted that the Third Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, held on October 23-24 in Riga, Latvia, brought together over 70 participating countries and prominent international organizations, such as the Council of Europe, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
